While Humble Abode’s presence was first established in 2018, its backbone has been built from over 15 years of industry experience and partnered workmanship. Director Jarrod Gaget noticed issues in their own homes after choosing a bigger builder. This was the perfect motivation to get Humble Abode up and running, achieving the outcome that the homebuyer truly deserves. Jarrod is ready to take the Humble Abode Building Group to a
professional home builder standard, for home buyers and renovators alike. Caring for each home as if it’s their own, from the first plans to hand over.
After accomplishing state-wide projects from a professional carpenter’s perspective, the developed Pakenham (VIC) based company is now accompanied with important home building techniques, support from experienced tradesmen and valued major developer relationships.

Jarrod Gaget – Director of Humble Abode:
Growing up, Jarrod was always eager to create something from
scratch/ to keep his hands busy. In 2005, he would start his apprenticeship in carpentry with the guidance of an expert mentor, who motivated him to launch a carpentry business in 2008. A few years in the trade, Jarrod would team up with Dan Cattolico and together expanded their carpentry endeavours with the opening of ‘Trussed Carpentry in 2014. They completed jobs for multiple home builders with their dedicated team on board, from small renovations to large developments.
That was never going to be enough for Jarrod and in 2016 he looked to obtain his building License a couple of years later he would set up ‘Humble Abode Building Group’ 2018. Running many successful projects for clients up until 2021 while still running a successful carpentry company Jarrod decided that Humble Abode needs his full attention and he would step down as director of ‘Trussed Carpentry’.
Now Jarrod lives and breaths Building projects with his small and dedicated team.
The Director’s vision: Over the years Jarrod has noticed issues on the build sites they worked on.

The most satisfying part of the build is handing over the completed project and the owner is more than happy with the results achieved, this is a repayment of the trust they have shown Humble abode to bring their dreams to life.
