What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and how to ask us to delete it.
Humble Abode Building Group Pty Ltd (ABN 99 623 850 055) collects personal information through this website only when you choose to send it to us, and uses it only to answer your enquiry. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
What we collect
Two things, and that is all.
What you send us. If you fill in the enquiry form or call us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the suburb of your project and whatever you choose to tell us about it. We use it to call you back, prepare an estimate and, if you go ahead, run your build. We keep it for as long as we are dealing with you and for seven years afterwards, because building and tax records have to be kept.
Enquiries reach us by email through Scalepoint, the company that runs this website, which also keeps a copy in the system it uses to make sure no enquiry goes unanswered. Scalepoint handles it only on our behalf and does not use it for anything else.
How the site is used. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how people move through this website: which pages they read, where they stop, and where the site confuses them. It records page views, clicks, scrolling and general location (city level), and it can replay an anonymised version of a visit. Text you type into the enquiry form is masked and is not captured in those recordings. We also use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages people arrive on and where they came from, and know when an enquiry has been sent. It uses cookies and reports in aggregate; it does not tell us who you are.
We also use the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages you visit here, so we can show relevant ads to people who have visited this website. You can control this in your Facebook ad preferences.
Reviews
The reviews on this site come from Google.
Our home page shows reviews pulled live from our public Google Business Profile. Those reviews were written on Google, are public there, and remain under Google's control. We do not edit them, choose which ones appear, or store them. If you wrote one and want it changed or removed, do that in Google and this site follows within the hour.

We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles. If you are not happy with how we have handled a request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
